Star Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter made plenty of impactful plays for the Philadelphia defense throughout their Divisional Round battle with the Rams, but none were as critical as potentially game-saving play on third down with under a minute to go. Clinging to a six-point lead, the Eagles had to stop the Rams from getting into the end zone, but they were knocking at the door. Carter immediately flew past the opposing center with an epic swim move that put him face-to-face with the quarterback, resulting in a massive sack that put Los Angeles in a nearly impossible position on fourth-and-long. Carter tallied two sacks and five total tackles in this one with one forced fumble, helping the Eagles to hold on, 28-22, in a riveting matchup on Jan. 19, 2025.
