Down by seven at the start of the fourth quarter after having scored 14 unanswered points to get within striking distance, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow went into superhero mode to get Cincinnati back in the game. Despite not being the fleetest of foot to grace the signal caller position in the modern NFL, Burrow was able to navigate the pocket and avoid pressure at a level few have been able to throughout history, dodging certain sacks before firing off-balance passes into tight windows for critical first downs. The drive culminated with a 17-yard touchdown strike to tie the game at 27, Burrow's third passing score of the day. Burrow would go on to throw for a total of 356 yards and three touchdowns on the day, and also added 28 yards rushing on just two attempts, but despite his heroics, the Bengals would ultimately fall in this one, losing 34-27 to the Chargers on Nov. 17, 2024.
