Not all three-yard touchdowns are created equal, as evidenced by this spectacular play from Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle. Lining up to the quarterback's left in a shotfun formation, Dowdle faked as if he was going to block before leaking out and finding a soft spot in the front of the end zone. After a spectacular demonstration of how to navigate and escape from pressure in a collapsing pocket, his quarterback tossed the ball his way, and Dowdle leaped up to try to make the grab. The ball initially slipped through his fingers, but Dowdle managed to juggle the ball back to himself on his way down and eventually snatched it out of the air for the score. The eventful three-yard TD reception was part of a day that saw Dowdle tally 107 yards of total offense, as Dallas fell to the Falcons, 27-21, on Nov. 3, 2024.
