For even some of the NFL’s greats, it can take a few weeks before they’ve settled into midseason, top-of-their-game form; for Josh Allen, it took only a few minutes and a double-digit deficit. A force to be reckoned with as both a thrower and runner, the Buffalo Bills superstar took off during a broken play, leapfrogging over an Arizona Cardinals defender on his way to the endzone. The six-yard carry marked Allen’s second rushing touchdown of the day during the 34-28 come-from-behind win on Sept. 8, 2024. Allen went 18-of-23 for 232 yards and two touchdowns, supported by nine carries for 39 yards and two touchdowns.
