For a player whose career continues to age gracefully, even after surpassing the 2,000-carry plateau, perhaps it should’ve only been expected that Derrick Henry’s run in Baltimore continues to elevate week-by-week. Briefly showing flashes of the running back that once conquered the NFL with 2,000-yard campaigns and All-Pro nods over the first two games, Henry rediscovered the fountain of youth entirely in Sept. 22, 2024’s battle against the Cowboys. The four-time Pro Bowler’s Week 3 demonstration featured much of what first made him one of the game’s one-of-a-kind talents: powerful, angry middle-of-the-field runs, stiff arms, broken tackles, and of course, an insatiable hunt for the end zone. The Ravens’ 28-25 victory would require surviving Dallas’ furious late-game comeback attempt, but Henry provided the necessities nonetheless, turning 26 touches into 174 yards and two scores.
