There may not be anyone else in the NFL today who can impact the game from the off-ball linebacker position as much as 49ers superstar Fred Warner can. In this Week 2 matchup between San Francisco and Minnesota, Warner did it all, making plays all over the field against the pass and the run, stuffing the stat sheet and causing huge turnovers. By the time the afternoon was finished, Warner had accrued nine tackles (one for a loss), one sack, an interception, two forced fumbles, one quarterback hit, and two passes defended. Despite Warner's spectacular day, the 49ers would ultimately fall in this one, dropping this matchup to the Vikings, 23-17, on Sept. 15, 2024.
