A second-round selection in the NFL Draft several seasons ago, new Chicago Bears defensive end Darrell Taylor quickly settled into his new home in Week 1 of the 2024 NFL Season. On two occasions, Taylor got to the quarterback in an important spot, the first of which being a crucial second-down sack to disrupt a scoring drive during the first half, and the second being a strip sack in the fourth quarter that resulted in a critical turnover. All told, Taylor racked up eight tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble in this one, helping the Bears to a season-opening, 24-17 come-from-behind win over the Titans on Sept. 8, 2024.
