Rookie Saints running back Deuce McAllister didn't touch the ball often in this one, but when he was given an opportunity, he made it count. In the first quarter, he received a pitch out to the left, and then surprised the defense by tossing the ball towards the end zone, where it was hauled in for the score. Not satisfied to just throw a touchdown in this one, he later took a fourth quarter pitch out left and took off running, beating the defense to the sideline after breaking a tackle and sprinting to the end zone for the first rushing touchdown of his NFL career. The 54-yard score was on his only carry of the day, as the Saints beat the Falcons, 28-10, on Dec. 9, 2001.
