After making an offseason move from Baltimore to Kansas City, new Chiefs running back Priest Holmes enjoyed an incredible breakout performance in Week 3 of the 2001 NFL Season. It began with a 24-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter, and he'd score twice on the ground as well in the closing minutes of the first half to make it three touchdowns in the quarter. All told, Holmes accrued 225 yards of total offense in this one, with 147 coming on the ground and 78 through the air, scoring three times as the Chiefs dismantled Washington, 45-13, on Sept. 30, 2001.
