The 1998 Arizona Cardinals were masters of pulling out tight wins, and a lot of that had to do with the clutch play of quarterback Jake Plummer. In the third quarter of this 1998 matchup between the Cardinals, Plummer dropped back to pass off play action and fired a perfect throw downfield that hit his receiver in stride just as he was crossing the goal line. The 36-yard score gave the Cardinals a second-half lead. Plummer would go on to throw for 198 yards and two touchdowns in this one, leading Arizona to a 17-15 win over the Lions on Nov. 1, 1998, one of seven wins they'd have that season by three points or less.
