Having already scored on a short reception earlier in the game, star Eagles running back Brian Westbrook took things to another level in the second quarter of their matchup with the 49ers. Taking a handoff from just inside their own 30-yard line, Westbrook burst right up the gut, made a mockery of a last-ditch tackle attempt about 40 yards downfield, and then outran the defense to the end zone for a 71-yard score. Westbrook finished this one with 117 yards rushing and two scores on just eight carries, and also added another 47 yards and one score through the air on four catches, as the Eagles beat San Francisco, 38-24, on Sept. 24, 2006.
