On an unforgettable play in a matchup between New England and Atlanta towards the midway point of the 2001 NFL Season, Patriots receiver Troy Brown was not the intended target, but was the beneficiary of a wild deflection that sent the ball careening in his direction. He snagged the ball out of the air, and with momentum on his side, sprinted around the rest of the defenders towards the front corner of the end zone, crossing the goal line for a 44-yard score. Brown finished this one with five catches for 99 yards and this one score, as the Patriots beat the Falcons, 24-10, on Nov. 4, 2001.
