With the Jets trailing by three points early in the fourth quarter, quarterback Vinny Testaverde dropped back to pass off play action, bounced around the pocket to buy some time, and then fired a pass downfield to an open receiver, who hauled it in for the score. The touchdown gave New York the lead after they had trailed 17-0 during the game, and was part of a 168-yard, two-touchdown performance from Testaverde. The Jets would ultimately hold on and win this one over Miami, 21-17, on Oct. 14, 2001.
