Having earlier made the first catch of his NFL career, 49ers rookie receiver Jacob Cowing showed off his ability to make plays downfield in the deep passing game. Lined up out to the right, Cowing exploded off the line, quickly made his way downfield, adjusted to the pass as it was descending towards him, and then made the grab for a gain of 41 yards. Cowing finished this one with two catches for 50 yards, as San Francisco came up short against the Chiefs, losing 28-18 on Oct. 20, 2024.
