Joe Mixon became just the fifth non-quarterback ever to throw a touchdown in the Super Bowl, floating a pass to wide receiver Tee Higgins for the score. The trick play was made possible after the pitch to Mixon pulled the Los Angeles defense toward him, opening room for Higgins in the back of the end zone. It was Mixon's lone pass attempt of the game. He also carried the ball 15 times for 72 yards, though the Bengals would ultimately fall to the Rams in Super Bowl LVI, 23-20.
